Project Rubric:
- Video clip is used to produce at least 24 still-photographic images that will be used to create vector illustrations. These images show fluid motion, and are sized appropriately to fill the required frame dimension – 1 pt
- Still photographic images from video clip are imported into Illustrator to produce at least 24 vector illustrations – also known as roto-scoping – based on these video frames. These vector illustrations can be abstract and stylized, or more realistic, they can be geometric or organic, composed of shapes or lines, or a combo of all of these – the main limitation is that they CANNOT utilize any automated image-trace processes. 3 pts
- Vector graphics are compiled in Photoshop as a frame animation and exported as an Animated GIF. 4 pts based on the following breakdown:
-GIF is the correct dimension (1 pt)
-GIF is looping, at least 24 frames, at 12 Frames Per Second (2 pts)
-GIF has a background color other than white (1 pt)
