Read “Corn’s Conquest” by Michael Pollan (337-343) and write the following two paragraphs:
Paragraph 1, describe the process by which corn has become included in such a large part of the American food chain (341-342). Paraphrase as much as possible but
punctuate and cite any borrowed language you can’t put in your own words.
Paragraph 2, in your own words, describe the process by which Americans have physically become the “true people of the corn” (343).
