and newspapers are not acceptable for sources. For instance, the Journal of Black Psychology is acceptable but Newsweek magazine is not. Please do not include
textbooks, dictionaries, or encyclopedias in your reference list. The paper should be a synthesis of articles, thus the articles you choose need to have a common
thread. They all need to be about various aspects of depression in African American teens and the causes and effects.
